Live In Care Services

We all value the comfort and familiarity of our homes. The thought of having to leave our homes for care facilities can be distressing.

By offering Live-in Care services, now anyone needing care or home support can choose to receive it right at home, making health management a more comfortable and personal experience.

Companionship

Loneliness can have a significant impact on one's overall well-being. Our Health Partners at United Irish Healthcare actively engage in creating meaningful interactions, share in hobbies, and offer company during social activities. This brings a crucial sense of connection, comfort, and conviviality to our clients' lives.

Personal Care

Maintaining personal hygiene and grooming can become challenging with age or mobility constraints. Our Health Partners step in to assist with these necessities, delivering an essential personal care service. Respectful and sensitive, they help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, helping our clients uphold their dignity and self-esteem, while ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Home Maintenance

Keeping up with household chores can be difficult for those with limited mobility or energy. In response to this challenge Health Partners assist with everyday tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and minor repairs, alleviating the burden and helping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for our clients.

Meal Planning & Prep

A balanced diet can be challenging to maintain especially for those who are less able or lack the energy but remains crucial for good health and recovery. Our Health Partners assist in creating nutritious meal plans, as well as handling grocery shopping, and assisting in cooking. This aids our clients in receiving essential nutrients vital for their well-being, whilst also adding a layer of convenience to their daily life.

Overnight Assistance

Our carers available for overnight stays at a client's home, provide routine check-ins during the night, with the ability to do more as necessary. This not only adds to the client's comfort but also offers reassurance to their family members, knowing that there is someone present in the home to provide immediate help when needed during the night.

How does Live-in Care work?

Our carers are available to provide care for at least 6 hours per day or night, with the flexibility to extend those hours up to 10 if necessary. We offer daytime live-in carers, nighttime live-in carers, or 24 hour carers, to ensure your loved one receives the assistance they need in their most comfortable setting. These hours of care can be consecutive, or spread out throughout the day, dependent on the client's specific needs.

For day time carers, hours can be split throughout the day, for instance two in the morning, two in the afternoon and three in the evening. Nighttime or overnight live-in carers are available to provide care starting from late evening until early morning. For round-the-clock care, our 24/7 carers can assist throughout the day and offer passive care during night hours, complemented by routine 15-minute check-ins. This ensures continuous, personalised care tailored to the client's needs any time of the day.

If you need both active day and night care, we my need to provide 2 carers so they can be both rested for their shifts.
