What is respite home care?

Respite home care is when a trained carer comes to your home to look after your loved one, providing a break for their regular carer. This type of care offers continuous support and ensures that the individual receiving care has consistent attention without leaving their home.  The goal of respite care in this context is to support the well-being of the carer and or family.

How does it work?

Our respite carers are flexible live-in carers who provide a fixed number of care hours daily, typically residing in the client's home while on duty and strategically allocating these hours throughout the day to ensure continuous round-the-clock coverage; they can also be engaged for overnight care, offering passive assistance while on standby during the night, with a defined start in the evening and finish time the next day.
