Two ways to arrange live-in care
Planned respite
Cover booked in advance so a family carer can take a holiday, a rest, or attend to other commitments β for a day, a week, or longer.
Regular daytime visits
A carer calls to the home for a set few hours β personal care, meals, medication prompts and companionship β as often as you need through the week.
Ongoing overnight cover
The same trusted carer for your regular nights each week β awake and on hand through the night, for continuity and reassurance.
Flex
A carer lives in the home and provides your agreed active care hours through the day, plus the reassurance of a carer resting in the home overnight.
Short-notice respite
Cover at shorter notice when circumstances change β illness, an emergency, or a gap in your usual care β subject to carer availability.
Full-day support
Longer half-day or full-day cover β steady companionship and personal care for someone who needs more presence during the day.
Occasional & post-hospital
One-off nights or a short run of cover β when the family needs rest, or in the first weeks home after a hospital stay.
Constant
A small, dedicated team provides round-the-clock support, so someone is always awake and on hand β day and night. Best for higher-dependency needs.

Live-in care across Clare

From Ennis and Shannon out to Kilrush, Ennistymon, Killaloe and the coastal towns, our live-in carers move into the family home so daily life carries on in familiar surroundings. Because a carer lives in rather than driving between calls, we also reach the more rural addresses across west and north Clare.

Coming home from University Hospital Limerick or Ennis Hospital? We can usually have a live-in carer in place within a few days. We're an independent, private home-care provider β not part of the HSE β so we can arrange support quickly and work around any public services you already have.
